Welcome to the Swedish School!

Swedish supplementary studies are currently held on three different North Carolina locations: the Triangle, Greensboro and Charlotte. For more information considering local or National Swedish education please contact our current Chairman in the Triangle, Mari Hakansson.

The classes is offered to students between 1-5th grade. From 6th grade up there are different on-line study solutions available via SUF - Svenska Utlandsskolors Förening.

To be eligible to attend the student need to have at least one Swedish speaking parent and some basic Swedish speaking skills. The supplementary studies are in Swedish culture, language, social studies and history. All 36 sessions, 14 of them are conducted during Fall and 16 during the Spring semester are held in Swedish and there is a low charge per child to cover study material.

Sony-Ericsson is currently lending The Swedish School in the Triangle space at the headquarters on 8001 Development Drive, in Research Triangle Park off Davis Drive.
